Another Loss

Down another 3 lbs this week! I hit my mini goal so tonight I go shopping!

For the workout classes that I am taking, the instructor gave us food journals and wants to review them each week. That is really keeping me accountable this week, because I don't want him to see a lot of junk in my food journal. I had a fleeting thought that I could eat the junk but not write it down, but that is just cheating myself. There are a few bad entries in my journal this week - like a candy bar on Sunday and a piece of cheesecake last night, but I am otherwise good, so a treat now and then is not a huge deal. I know he is going to tell me that I should eat more balanced and healthy meals, and I probably should. I should get more dairy and protein in, but I don't. So far what I have been doing is working, so why fix it if it's not broken, right? How much do you focus on meeting the healthy guidelines and on eating the right foods, not just staying within points?

    CONGRATS on the fabulous loss!!!! You look wonderful by the way!

    Um, healthy guidelines? What are those? :) I am still trying to get 100% back on track, but I figure if I'm getting in my water, f/v and dairy servings each day, I'm good. Oh yeah, and the vitamin :) This has to be something you can live with forever, and that's what I know I can do. As it keeps getting easier, I'll keep incorporating other healthy changes, but for now I'm happy with what I'm doing (except when I don't do it...)
