Ok, so weightloss is supposed to be about calories in v. calories out - right? So tell me, why did I lose more this week when I ate a lot and worked out less? Don't get me wrong, I am very excited about it (5lb loss this week) but it is confusing. It is not like I usually starve myself or anything - I eat plenty of food.
Worked out with the trainer today - she really killed me today. But it was good because I was able to do all of it and I was energetic. And yesterday I ran for a mile without stopping and then alternated walking / running - it was a great workout. I think the reason is that now I have accountability on a whole new level. I sent a donation email to the firm this week asking for contributions to Team in Training (and by the way, if you are reading this, you will probably get a letter or email from me soon). So now everyone I work with knows about the triathlon so I have to go through with it - which means I have to prove to myself that I can do it. Hence the renewed motivation.
Speaking of Team in Training (TNT), the kickoff is tomorrow - I can't believe it is here already. I feel like time is flying by and the race will be here in no time!
