Ok, so the whole back on track thing didn't happen last week. I should have known better, I used my birthday as an excuse, but now the b-day is over and I am going to be back on track - NO MORE EXCUSES. I have worked too hard to keep sliding back into my old habits. AND my race is coming to soon for me to stop working hard now. I have a lot going on this week - lunches out, happy hours, etc, but I will not let them interfere with being OP. I just made my first stride toward being OP - we are having a pizza lunch for a couple coworkers who are leaving - instead of ordering pizza, I said I would bring my own salad. I can do this.
PLUS, I am now doing a small triathlon on Aug. 6 (through Team in Training) to practice for my race - I figure I need to be good before that or else why bother. I can't believe I am doing a triathlon in 2 weeks! Yikes.

AMEN, sister! I swear, we are living the same life right now (except I didn't have the birthday excuse)! I am back on track today as well. It's a lot easier to keep my rear end running when my rear end weighs less!!!
