Sorry, I haven't posted for several weeks. Things have been hectic at work and I have been kinda slacking with WW. I have kept up with my triathlon training though - I have been running 5Ks every weekend, biking, and even swimming on the weekends. The race is only a little over a month away - hard to believe. I have done all three events individually now, so now is when I need to start focusing on transitioning and working on endurance so I can do all three events together.
As I said, I have been slacking on WW lately - kind of an on again off again thing where I get sidetracked for a week then get back on track then find an excuse to go crazy again...you get the picture. But, the good news is that I have lost 69 lbs to date and went down another pant size from the last time I went shopping. It works, I know it works, I just need the motivation to stick with it. I'll get there eventually.
A big props to Janelle for making goal today! I can't even imagine how great that must feel. And to Kara for what sounds like GREAT training for her half marathon. I'll have to get some tips from her, because I am signed up to run a half marathon next May. I can't believe the things I get talked into now.
I have also been golfing lately - it really is a fun game. Well, it's fun when I am doing well - when I am not doing well I just want to swear and throw things.
I hope to get back to cooking and posting recipes some day, but it has just been too crazy lately and I fear it might stay crazy until after my race.
